GML 9100 HRT Mixer

GML 9100 HRT Mixer

Developed in the early 1990’s to meet the demanding needs of critical remote recording, post-production, and high-resolution mixing, the GML High Resolution Topology Mixing System provides the utmost sonic accuracy in a flexible modular format.

All audio paths of HRT modules are comprised of GML proprietary discrete opamps and custom controls in a fundamentally minimalist signal path. The highly specialized HRT9115 Input and HRT9116 Output modules offer uncompromising wide-bandwidth, low-noise, low-distortion (THD and IMD), high slew-rate performance. Precious-metal XLR audio connectors interface the HRT with the external world. External faders may be employed, enabling automation of mixes and/or the use of long- throw faders.

The rugged HRT9100 rack-mountable enclosure (4U) houses up to 12 modules. Its backplane supplies power, balanced signal bussing, and logic control. Power is derived from an external linear 2U supply (HRT9145). Eight busses are provided for balanced mixing–four main and four auxiliary–with extremely low crosstalk and noise. Multiple enclosures may also be cascaded to incorporate the needs of larger systems.
